50 years of experience

PWF was founded in 1969 under the name Präzisions-Werkzeug-Fabrik (precision tool factory). In the early years, we manufactured cutting tools, bending tools and progressive dies. In 1973 we acquired the front segment of the tool construction division that you see today.

At the time our facilities covered about 1,500 square meters. As the years went on, we gradually began to specialise, ultimately deciding to focus on manufacturing injection moulding tools in 1988. Our quality management system was certified in accordance with DIN 9001:2015 in 2018.

Our philosophy

We have many years of experience in manufacturing highly segmented multi-cavity tools, which are used to produce electronic connector housing made of PA, PBT and PC for the telecommunications, computer and automotive industries, as well as a wide variety of products spanning healthcare and laboratory technology.

We apply this experience in designing and subsequent construction of the tools. We are therefore able to offer our customers cost-effective tool solutions for flawless injection moulding production. We design and manufacture tools measuring up to 600 × 1,000 mm for injection moulding machines with locking forces from 150 kN up to 4,000 kN.

We use 3D CAD software that is constantly updated to design your tools. The data created is simultaneously used to control the CNC machines.

We employ different channels to facilitate data communication with our customers.

We use VISI Modelling, VISI Mould and VISI Advanced Modelling in the design phase, and VISI Flow for the rheological analysis.
